O καθ. Daniel Edelhoff είναι Διευθυντής και Πρόεδρος στο Τμήμα Προσθετικής Οδοντιατρικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ludwig-Maximilians (LMU) στο Μόναχο. Είναι πιστοποιημένος ειδικός στην Προσθετική και μέλος της συμβουλευτικής επιτροπής της Γερμανικής Εταιρείας Προσθετικής και Βιοϋλικών, καθώς και Αναπληρωματικό Μέλος της Αμερικανικής Ακαδημίας Αισθητικής Οδοντιατρικής (AAED). Ο Daniel Edelhoff έλαβε το 2011/2012/2013 τρία βραβεία «Καλύτερος Δάσκαλος» από τους φοιτητές οδοντιατρικής του LMU και της Βαυαρικής Ένωσης Οδοντιάτρων. Από το 2014 είναι Ενεργό Μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Αισθητικής Οδοντιατρικής (EAED) καθώς και Section Editor του πολυεπιστημονικού διεθνούς ερευνητικού περιοδικού Clinical Oral Investigations. Το 2016 έγινε Πρόεδρος της Γερμανικής Ένωσης Οδοντιατρικής Τεχνολογίας (ADT) και το 2019 Κοσμήτορας για Σπουδές Οδοντιατρικής στο LMU.Το 2021 ήταν Επιστημονικός Πρόεδρος του 1ου Διαδυκτιακού Συνεδρίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ακαδημίας Αισθητικής Οδοντιατρικής.
Prof. Daniel Edelhoff is currently Director and Chair at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich. He is board certified Specialist in Prosthodontics and member of the advisory board of the German Society of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials, as well as Associate Member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED). Daniel Edelhoff received 2011/2012/2013 three awards “Best Teacher” by the dental students of the LMU and the Bavarian Association of Dentists. Since 2014 he is Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) as well as Section Editor of the multidisciplinary international research journal Clinical Oral Investigations. 2016 he became President of the German Association of Dental Technology (ADT) and 2019 Dean for Studies in Dental Medicine at LMU. In 2021 he was the Scientific Chairman of the 1st EAED Virtual Meeting.
